When can you test?
Proov Check can detect hCG in urine up to 5 days before your next expected period. You can choose to test this early, or wait until after a missed period.
How it works
After a fertilized egg implants in the uterus, the placenta forms and begins to produce hCG, also called the pregnancy hormone. Once a pregnancy has begun, a small amount of hCG can be detected in the urine.
Results
A positive result with Proov Check means that you are very likely pregnant.
A negative result may mean that you are not pregnant, or that the hCG level is not yet high enough to be detected by the test.
If you are unsure about the result – whether it is positive or negative – we recommend that you test again at least 48 hours after the first test.
